Africa's Institution
for Allied Health
Research & Development
CAAHRAD — Centre for African Advanced Health Research and Development — is building the evidence base, training architecture, and institutional voice that allied health in Africa has always deserved. We exist because the continent's most practical clinicians have been the least studied. We are changing that.
Three pillars. One institution.
CAAHRAD operates across three interconnected pillars that reinforce each other — research that informs advisory, advisory that funds training, training that generates the next wave of researchers.
Evidence Generation
We generate peer-reviewed, policy-relevant research on allied health workforce, digital health adoption, health IT systems, and programme effectiveness — specifically in the African context.
Institutional Advisory
We advise hospitals, health agencies, and academic institutions on health IT procurement, workforce restructuring, digital transformation strategy, and evidence-based programme design.
Capacity Development
We train allied health professionals through structured workshops, certification programmes, and institutional partnerships — building the workforce competency base that the sector urgently needs.
The Africa we are building toward.
By 2030, no health policy decision in Nigeria should be made about allied health professionals without referencing CAAHRAD research. No hospital system in West Africa should digitise without CAAHRAD advisory. No allied health professional should be left without a credible path to continuing education.
Who we work with.
CAAHRAD occupies a unique position at the intersection of clinical, academic, institutional, and technology ecosystems. Our value is amplified by the quality of our partnerships.
Hospitals & Health Systems
Teaching hospitals, federal medical centres, state specialist hospitals, and private hospital groups across Nigeria — our primary advisory and training clients.
Academic Institutions
University departments of allied health sciences, schools of medical laboratory science, physiotherapy, and radiography — for research collaboration and curriculum advisory.
Development Partners
WHO, Gates Foundation, Wellcome Trust, USAID, and bilateral health programmes requiring African institutional co-leads on research and programme work.
Tech Suite Pro (A-Waves)
CAAHRAD's institutional advisory work generates direct pipeline for health IT implementation by Tech Suite Pro — our sister company within A-Waves Holdings Ltd.
MedTech Staffing Africa
CAAHRAD's research on allied health workforce quality provides the credibility foundation that MedTech Staffing Africa needs to win hospital staffing contracts.
AFRIHEALTH Platform
CAAHRAD is an active voice in the AFRIHEALTH ecosystem — a speaker platform, publication channel, and institutional partnership network serving African health leaders.
Our track record, building.
CAAHRAD is in its establishing phase. Every milestone matters. We document our progress transparently — because institutional credibility is built one verifiable achievement at a time.
